My holiday is officially over..No more travellin..Now its juz sit at home n be a full time mother n housewife before de school holiday is really over..Juz got back frm my shoppin trip wif my relatives n siblins..Only one word could describe it..Tirin!!! We actually really really shop from de moment we arrived till de day we left Thailand.. Anyway it was sure fun when u haf de company of ur families ard u..We went to Pratunam de moment we reached Thailand..Had our dinner at Maedah Restaurant n bought dinner for Bibik n Family as they took a later flight..On our way back we came across another halal restaurant,Bin Salam. Here we bought prata which is stuffed wif banana n milk plus sugar as toppins..At de hotel,met Bibik's family n gave them their food to eat, we rest awhile before headin to Suan Lum Nite Bazaar..Left Suan Lum at 12.30am Thai time so by de time we reached our hotel we actually slept at 1.30am Sin time..Next mornin..Is had a bad flu..Went to Chatuchak@Jatujak Weekend Market wif Bibik's family only..Reached there at 8.00 Thai time n had our brunch at a Muslim stall near de clock tower..By de time Aan reached de stall, she was already havin nausea after havin to smell n see pig's intestines n parts at other shops. We had difficulty communicatin wif de stall ppl as they speak very little English so we ended up orderin wat seemed to be familiar n right to us...We started our shoppin soon after we finished our brunch..Left Chatuchak@Jatujak Weekend Market at 4pm Thai time n headed back to hotel by cab as by now our hands were juz full wif our shoppin stuff!(Kakak n Is actually went back first to put a tall lamp they bought n came back rite after that)Nite time we went to eat at MakYah Muslim Restaurant at Petchaburi Soi Surau(or Soi 7)by bus..Later de kids wanted to try out Tuk-tuk so they took tuk-tuk to Khao San Road, where we chill out for awhile at Starbuck..Khao San Road is famous among backpackers...U can find cheap accomodations there n also get cheap travellin tour..Back in 2004, I actually went there wif my hubby to book tix to diff parts of Thailand backpacker style..After Khao San we headed off to PatPong..Never really like to shop here but since this is Bibik's n family first time in Bangkok, brought them there so that they can 'see' n 'know' why PatPong is quite famous wif tourist..Bibik's eyes were really wide open while lookin around!!! Even Aan was fascinated wif de scenes..Khairul...I shall not say anythin...Next mornin, we checked out 9am Thai time n proceed straight for breakfast n more shoppin.. We had roti naan at Maedah Restaurant again as de other restaurants were still close when we reached..After breakfast, we shopped at Pratunam Market n MahBungKrong(MBK)..At MBK, some of us split..De ladies minus kakak shop at MBK first while de guys went to a National Stadium where they shopped for cheap AA+ quality soccer jerseys..Met up for lunch n had KFC..By then it was already 4.15pm Thai time n we decided to head back to de hotel to do some last min packin up..Reached Sukhabumi Airport n managed to check in all our luggages by 7.15pm Thai time..Board de plane at 8.00pm Thai time n left Thailand to reach Singapore at 11.40pm Sin time..We took maxicab(shared wif MakLong n PakLong)n only to reach home safe n sound but wif very sleepy n tired at 12.40am..Like I said earlier, eventhou we were really tired but we enjoyed de trip..Hope we can do this again...So anyone wish to go there again next year for a shoppin trip???
1st funny incident : on our way to Khao San Road, de kids (Aan, Khairul, Nurul n Epul shared de same tuk-tuk. De driver actually brought them to an Bapok Show n asked them whether they wanna watch it!!
2nd funny incident : At PatPong, bibik was really worried for Khairul as she wasnt expectin him to see all de unwanted stuff so soon since she has been shieldin n keepin him in de dark for 17years..
3rd funny incident : Aan was really fascinated to 'see' things at PatPong n actually tried to look inside. She said she can coz she's also woman like them n haf wat they haf..
4th funny incident : Everywhere we go we said we r M'sian..coz if we say we r S'porean...ehemm...nampaknya de price wont be cheap...They like M'sians but not so S'poreans..
5th funny incident : Each family bought a stool from Chatuchak@Jatujak Weekend Market. When we wanted to check in at Thailand, we had to send it to oversize baggage counter.When we reached S'pore, we actually waited for quite sometime at de conveyour belt to collect our stool boxes..but it didnt come out n we actually went to de front n looked thru de belt..After shoutin n no one listenin, we gave up n tot of complainin at de custom office..On our way there,we saw our boxes!!! It came out from de Odd Size Baggage belt..Kesian stool kita!!
1st scary incident : Everyone esp Bibik spent alot in juz 3 days!! Even de custom officer at Spore airport was shocked to see our barang2..n even asked 'How long did u guys went for holiday?'
2nd scary incident : Bibik actually brought a notebook to write down de things she bought but in de end she gave up as there were to many things to write which will also scare her..
*again I didnt bring my camera but took de pics usin my trusted sony ericsson hp..
