Our Lil Darlins

Akhirnya my dearest lil princezz is 2 years old...dah makin besar panjang anak mama...as usual, we had a mini birthday celebration cum mini family get together at simpang bedok at a newly open Halal Italian restaurant called Badoque...Yup theres a new eatery at simpang bedok babe...Italian lagi...tapi restaurant dia tak sederet dgn kedai kopi yg hip n happening dan kecoh tapi kat mana lagi kalau tak sebelah si Jack Giler...Sebenarnya sampai on de day of lil princezz birthday pun kita tak tau nak celebrate kat mana...it so happened on the day itself I stumbled upon it while readin apalagi kalau tak Berita Minggu yg bapa mertuaku beli...so when hubby came back frm work apalagi I suggested it to him and taa-daa...5.30pm we were at Badoque celebratin Lil Princezz birthday...n de food...mamamamama miaaaaa...cld taste de herbs n sauce... really savour de food..ok maybe i'm being a bit overlah kan...tapi sedap babe... kata Badoque kan...jadi apalagi gua badoklah habis-habisan...tapi ambience dia ada sikit tak gereklah...maybe becoz de whole restaurant is painted black jadi tempat ada sikit gulaplah...kalau malam agaknya lagi gulaplah gamaknya...but will definately make a return there...emmm ckp pasal mkn ni mcm dah lama tak makan ribs kat charcos...finger lickin good ribs...power dooooh...kalau lil cool cakap, its...power to de max...

Ok enuf abt eatin...now lets move on to somethin serious...hahahaha taklah serious sgt but can be serious if no actions taken...In de midst of the HFMD epidemic,2 of my kids r down wif it...It started wif lil cool who developed a slight fever...then it subsided...pastu lil princezz pulak kena...then it subsided...pastu lil cutie pulak kena...then it subsided...then de inevitable thing happened...lil cool developed ulcers in his mouth...not 1 but 3 big ones n 1 small bubble...he didnt haf de appetite to eat or drink his milk pun...luckily it was Labour Day... bawalah jumpa doc...biler sampai doc mcm nak kena rembat pun ada...ada ke dia kata "oooh its only a few ulcers so dont think its HFMD..."showed him de small red dots that I discoveredlah kan kat bawah tapak kaki dia...doc tu bole kata apa tau,"ooh HFMD must have bubbles in them..." yelah tu...kau kan doc...aku ni siapalah kan...u know more than I do...lepas tu pulakkan my lil princezz pulak developed high fever again...brought her to de doc yesterday n guess wat doc said she has de HFMD...
She contracted from lil cool eventhou lil cool had de minor HFMD coz accordin to de doc he only had ulcers...kaki lil princezz ada blisters...dalam mulut dia ada small ulcers...so lil princezz was given a stronger dosage of paracetamol...now lil princezz tgh tido after eatin her medicine...cian dia...smlm satu hari tak tido, terkejut2 n mcm meracau-racau but alhamdullillah now she's sound asleep...nak kejut tak sampai hati...ialah pasal dia tak tidolah demam dia naik...

I think penyakit nie comes wif de weather...kirakan hfmd nie mcm musim durian gitu...kalau ada musim adalah kalau takde...takdelah...n theres no cure to it...jadi lil princezz nak kena ada ample sleep and drinks alot jadi dia tak dehydrate...selagi musim hfmd nie tak subside...lil cool tak gi skolalah gamaknyer coz his centre is one of de affected ones and advice to close by MOE for 10 days...teringat zaman SARS how all schs in Spore were asked to close...it was sheer troublesome when sch resumed...leceh sungguh.com...alot of procedures n precautions nak kena buat...hopefully this HFMD epidemic doesnt evolve into something serious...
