Our Lil Darlins

Had a meet the parent session last Monday...nope, this time round it wasnt me who had to sit and wait for parents to meet me(done that on the first day of school holiday)Yes, we had an appointment to meet up with Lil Cool's teacher...I was really looking forward to the D day...So can you imagine how I was feeling when the much anticipated day arrived??? I was really really excited to know about Lil Cool's report...so habis kerja aje cepat-cepat chek bawa krete pegi amik kekandaku dan kemudian Lil Cool lah...Dalam kelam-kabut sempat hubby stopped for awhile at Macdonald to grab a quick bite...Kept looking at my watch...Kiter letak timing 1pm to meet the teacher tapi 1pm kiter kat Mac...We eventually reached Mercu at 1.15pm...Nasib baiklah takde parent lain yg datang...

So we went to class Ruby2A...According to Teacher Aida,lil cool enjoys music and movement very much...He really likes to sing and dance around...He could write without the dotted lines...He could colour the pictures... He could say and recognise alphabets and count numbers...He knows his math...He likes to ask questions...He loves iqra' session...He could say and recognise arabic alphabets...according to Teacher Aida, Teacher Sarah dote on him(pasal lil cool nie suka nah nyanyi lagu alif ba ta dia...kat rumah nyanyi aje...apa taknya...mak bapak suka nyanyi karaoke)I could just go on and on and on and it may sound just like the Class 95 ads...where you only hear the good stuff...hehehehe...so there were also some buts...

Lil Cool is tooooooooo clingy with his milk bottle...Apa taknya,Lil Cool treat his teat bottle just like a pacifier...so according to Teacher Aida, no one could touch his bottle...Nak tau kenapa? Pasal kat rumah, Lil Cutie suka nah amik botol-botol kakak or abang dia and just suck away...So it is his most priceless possession...He will still ask for the bottle even when he had cereal with milk...and he would cry if the teacher refuse to give him...A terrible incident occured last week...Nek wan lupa nak letak botol dia...dahlah mamat satu nie melalak mintak susu dia kat skolah...he doesnt mingle with the boys in his class...a boy ever hit him jadi dia tak nak main dgn budak-budak lelaki lagi, dia main dengan budak-budak pompuan aje...but he likes befriending this 'abang', a K2 boy who is in the same van as he is...He is a bit selective in choosing his friends...nak tau kenapa tak? Pasal dia dah kebiasaan kat rumah main kasar dgn adik2 dia...so he thinks that no one should hit or push him but he can do that to any Tom, Dick or Harry...Selalu main kasar dgn Lil Princezz,si Lil Princezz tak kisah...kadang2 Lil Princezz ingat its just another game...so my boy is not a sissy ok...

From the class work and excursion pictures, I think Lil Cool enjoys himself... Kalau pegi excursion, mesti balik citer apa dia buat...and he will say it over and over again...he's been to the Science Centre, Pasir Ris Park(which is once a month, maklumlah skolah depan park aje)some vegetable farm(which he brought back some leafy veggie yg entah apa nama dia)animal farm yang kat depan pasir ris park tu...and just recently to Giant Supermarket...kesukaan dia pegi sana sampai tiap2 hari cakap nak pegi Giant Supermarket aje...padahal dulu pegi Giant takde apa2 pun...

As a parent,I'm quite happy with the report I received and his progress in the report book...cant wait for the end of the year report pulak...for a change, mcm best gitu jumpa teacher when you are the parent...kalau boleh nak duduk lama2 berbual asking about your child progress and behaviour...but not the other way round eh...
